About EHB Solutions

EHB Solutions Limited is a UK company founded by Jon Barrett and Ann Deane which has substantial contacts with recruitment companies, schools and universities in China who require English Language and key subject teachers to teach Chinese students in a number of provinces.

Ann and Jon both have considerable international experience having held key roles at a UK University responsible for international affairs. They continue to work with Universities and businesses worldwide including in China.

EHB currently has a number of contracts to recruit suitable candidates to teach in China with start dates of March and September 2015. EHB will vet candidates before referring them to their partners in China for a final selection process. EHB do not charge the candidates for this process.

Vacancy three – Subject specific teachers (experienced mathematics, physics, economics, and science subject teachers to teach middle and high school students)

VACANCY ONE

1.      POSITION IDENTIFICATION: ACADEMIC EDUCATOR (LEVEL 1 TEACHER)
Title ORAL ENGLISH Teacher
Reports to Academic Team Leader and Education Management
Salary 8500 rmb- 10000 rmb NET per month, 20-24 hours per week. No evening or weekend teaching. Ten month renewable contract
2. COMPENSATION PACKAGE
  1. Free housing (3000 rmb-4000 rmb per month savings on average)
  2. Free utilities and cable/internet (200 rmb-400 rmb per month savings on average)
  3. Furnished housing, private bathroom, shared kitchen (New Furnishings for entire apartment cost 15000 rmb on average)

QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE

Qualifications:

 

  • Must be Native-Speakers of the English Language (i.e., USA, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand).
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher graduation.
  • Strong understanding of English, both written and oral.
  • Two years graduate work experience (teaching would be beneficial)
  • CRB checked

 

  1. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Teaching all areas of the ENGLISH curriculum.
    • Taking responsibility for the progress of all classes taught.
    • Motivating students with enthusiastic and imaginative presentation.
    • Maintaining discipline.
    • Working with Academic Team Leader and/or the Education
    • Meeting with parents; discussing progress of students, behaviour, potential, etc.
    • Keeping up to date with any and all changes to curriculum.
    • Representing high education expectations by putting forth best efforts

The ENGLISH Teacher must be able to teach basic English, Reading, Writing, and Speaking skills to students in the international class.

 

The ENGLISH Teacher does not necessarily need teaching experience, although any teaching or mentoring experience is a plus.

The ENGLISH Teacher will be teaching basic English skills and lessons to the students of the international program that are preparing to take TOEFL or IELTS tests for future acceptance to universities of Native English speaking countries around the world. He/ She will be expected to follow all educational guidelines set by the Education Management and/or its affiliates. On occasion the ENGLISH Teacher will be asked to meet and exceed contracted hours of teaching in order to improve and ensure success of the program. He/ She will be compensated for these efforts based on details of contract.

  The Education Management reserves the right to add, adjust, or change General Responsibilities for the ENGLISH Teacher position as entity sees fit for the betterment of students and quality of education provided.

 

VACANCY TWO

1. POSITION IDENTIFICATION: ACADEMIC EDUCATOR (LEVEL 2 TEACHER)
Title ACADEMIC ENGLISH TOEFL/IELTS Teacher
Reports to Academic Team Leader and Education Management
Salary 11000 rmb- 13000 rmb NET per month, 20-24 hours per week. No evening or weekend teaching. Ten month renewable contract (remainder of compensation package as Vacancy one)
2. POSITION DESCRIPTION

The ACADEMIC ENGLISH and TOEFL/IELTS Teacher must be proficient and/or

experienced in instructing students in the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) and IELTS (International English Language Testing System) testing.

The ACADEMIC ENGLISH and TOEFL/IELTS Teacher must be proficient and/or

experienced in instructing students in Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening components of both testings.

The ACADEMIC ENGLISH and TOEFL/IELTS Teacher will be teaching and tutoring

students of the international program that are preparing to take TOEFL or IELTS tests for future acceptance to universities of Native English speaking countries around the world. He /She will be expected to follow all educational guidelines set by the Education Management and/or its affiliates. On occasion the ACADEMIC ENGLISH and TOEFL/IELTS Teacher will be asked to meet and exceed contracted hours of teaching in order to improve and ensure success of the program.   1. PERSON SPECIFICATION

QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE

Qualifications :

  • Must be Native-Speakers of the English Language (i.e., USA, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand).
  • Bachelors Degree or higher with at least two years of working experience after graduation.
  • Experienced in ENGLISH and TOEFL/IELTS education or training. Can prove proficiency or past educational or work experience.
  • Must have teaching experience (2-3 years preferred) before consideration for this position, but candidates will be evaluated on an individual basis.
  • Current ESL teacher employees that choose to apply will be evaluated on an individual basis and must meet the above requirements, or has shown/demonstrated the skills and aptitude during said employment to be considered for the ENGLISH and TOEFL/IELTS Teacher position, and under the discretion of the Education Management

Several of EHB’s partners in China have expressed an urgent requirement for subject specific teachers (experienced mathematics, physics, economics, and science subject teachers to teach middle and high school students). Salaries would be considerably higher than the Educator level one and two posts and full details can be provided to candidates expressing an interest.

International Department:

Our International Class, curriculum, and International Department is experiencing large growth. The School

Situated in the city of Zhangjiagang, in China’s Jiangsu Province, Liangfeng High School is the top ranked school in the Suzhou City (population 10.5 million).

Zhangjiagang is part of greater Suzhou, about 150 km due west of Shanghai. The region has a long history. Located at the confluence of the Grand Canal and the Yangtze River, Suzhou has long been an important center, not just for transportation and commerce, but for art, poets and beautiful gardens. Zhangjiagang is considered a model city by the Chinese government and is famous throughout China for the politeness of its people, the cleanliness of its streets and its low crime rate. In 2012, Zhangjiagang had the second highest economic growth rate in all of China.
